Better off canceling the event instead of having the new federal government sponsored Gestapo control it. These Keystone Cops did a real fine job providing protection and apprehension of the terrorists the last time.

Horrible acts like those that happened last year in Boston leave the door wide open for authoritarian progressives to march in and start making draconian changes in the way we live. They don’t have to be the current Democratic Party to be a progressive. They can be Republicans like Bloomberg, Governors like Christie, or mayors like de Blasio. Why? The answer is very simple. Our elected government leaders don’t trust us to make good decisions. They don’t trust us with our own property.

Now when you ask questions of political candidates, ask them how much do they trust you? Do they think they can trust us with our rights, our property? Are you going to allow us to be in charge of our own lives, or are they going to be meddling?

Sure, there are all these great things they’re going to do for us, but are they going to leave us alone? Will we be able to conduct our lives unmolested by our government?

This is the fundamental challenge that we face. The issue is who trusts whom and why? This is the great challenge of our day. We just want to go back to the way it was, but we can’t. We’re not going to be able to when we keep electing politicians that keep meddling in our lives. Frankly, we would be better off dealing with terrorists face to face. Otherwise, they won.
