I watched the 3 major news stations carry the incident on their nightly news. I couldn’t help but wonder why CBS and ABC bleeped out Johnson’s arrogant and bigoted shouts. If he was allowed in the bar and said that to one of the male patrons there, he probably wouldn’t have any teeth left in his mouth let alone 10 stitches to his brainless head.
I was then astonished that UVA has lowered their moral standards by having someone of his less than stellar values as vice chair of the honor committee. If this is the type of person that projects honor, then we are all in for a world of hurt.
I was more astonished at the yet again Ferguson-like protestors, the president (who definitely is in need of some honor and good old American value for allowing trash like Johnson even near the honor committee.) even the now obama/Adolph Jr. governor trash the people in charge of enforcing the Commonwealth of Virginia laws.
If a person was elected to office and say got drunk with a stripper and crashed into a fountain in downtown D.C., or tweeted nude picture of his manhood, or eerily fondled a presidential nominee’s spouse on national TV, shouldn’t we all be concerned about this individual and their moral fiber? Yet the president of UVA and the Governor are too blind to see what is happening, or already planned the whole incident to incite more racial divide. They and the Ferguson-like protestors see no wrong in breaking drinking laws, swearing in public, bigoted shouts by someone who supposedly is leading the university by example the honorable way.
This whole incident is a joke and Johnson should be tried, found guilty and sentenced to a year in jail for his actions, lose his driver’s license, fined $2,500 according to the law and expelled from what was once a fine institution. I’m surprised he hasn’t cried that the arresting officers tried to rape him too, but maybe that is a future Rolling Stone article.
