Initial Letter to a US Senator:
I’m counting on you to oppose any additional funding or granting any additional power to an already power crazed person acting like a tyrannical king rather than a president. We have existing laws this person refuses to enforce and makes new ones by the mere fact of not enforcing them. obama has created this current problem purposely and if he denies it, he’s a liar. He needs to fix it with the current laws we have on the books. If he can’t do the job, he needs to resign, or impeach him and remove him from office.
This is nothing more than an end around move to force immigration reform and amnesty. Do not fall for this travesty of justice. We need to perform the following steps to solve this problem and in this order:
- Enforce our laws First and Foremost, Impeach those who refuse to enforce our laws they swore to uphold.
- Deport all illegal aliens from this planet or any other planet, no exceptions and add them to the 10 year wait period before they are eligible to reapply.
- Secure our borders and definitely send these kids back and when their countries representatives come to visit and see what conditions they are living in. The conditions are certainly a lot better than if they were still in their own country. Otherwise, do not allow any more representatives to visit and complain how terrible the living conditions of their children are. Take them with themselves back to their own country if it is so deplorable. This is not our problem, but it is theirs. We have our own citizen children to worry about. And stop any funding going to these countries until they correct the problem on their end. We can have a grand national block party on $400 million that obama wants to flush down their toilets. Is this the sucking sound Ross Perot talked about?
Once the above items are completed and only then should we even begin to entertain having a national discussion if we want immigration reform. Amnesty does not come into play in this at all.
As for the children born here with illegal alien parents, there are a few choices:
- They can leave with their parents when they are deported,
- They can be sponsored by any one of the multitude of “bleeding hearts” around this country like nanny pelosi by adopting these children, or being named a legal guardian of them, but not at the taxpayer’s expense.
While I have sympathy for the children’s plight as I said before, it is not our problem. They have parents and a country to go back to. If their parents are here illegally, they all need to go back from whence they came. We certainly do not need any additional expenses caused by clearly illegal actions by our “king” sitting in the White House.
Finally, I respectively remind you that your job is to represent the American Citizen, not Illegal Aliens.

The Response from the Senator:
Thank you for contacting me about the significant number of undocumented immigrants being apprehended at the U.S.-Mexico border. I appreciate hearing from you.
In recent months, the U.S. Border Patrol has apprehended a significant number of undocumented immigrants attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border into the United States. Most of these immigrants come from countries with high poverty and violence, including Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala. Since October 2013, the Border Patrol has encountered more than 52,000 unaccompanied and undocumented children. This influx has strained detention facilities around the U.S.
Adults who come to the U.S. illegally are subject to deportation proceedings. Children who are apprehended by the Border Patrol are given a background investigation and turned over to the Department of Health and Human Services, which works to reunite them with their parents, guardian, or sponsor. Children who reunite in the U.S. are required to have their cases brought before an immigration judge, who can make a determination on how the child’s case will proceed. Young undocumented immigrants who came to the U.S. after June 15, 2012 do not qualify for any protection under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, which provides the use of prosecutorial discretion to offer relief to young immigrants who have grown up in the U.S., graduated from school, and passed a background check.
The United States takes great pride in being a nation of immigrants and being a nation of laws. That is why in June 2012, I voted in favor of the bipartisan Border Security, Economic Opportunity and Immigration Modernization Act, a bill that would strengthen border security, create a pathway to citizenship for millions of undocumented immigrants following compliance with various requirements, help reunite families, and improve our visa programs. This bill passed the U.S. Senate by a vote of 68-32.
Children who seek to escape dire poverty and extreme violence by taking a dangerous journey to the U.S. should be treated humanely by the U.S. government. I will continue to monitor the situation of unaccompanied and undocumented children and support efforts that help secure our border and offer an earned pathway towards citizenship for immigrants who have grown roots in our communities and contribute to our nation.
Thank you again for contacting me.
Sincerely,
Tim Kaine

A Terse Reply:
In one paragraph you say Adults who come to the U.S. illegally are subject to deportation proceedings. In the next you say The United States takes great pride in being a nation of immigrants and being a nation of laws. In the last you say we should treat children humanely because they made the dangerous trip to the United States. Have you been making secret trips to Colorado and now Washington State? You are all over the map on this and nothing you say makes any logical sense.
Let’s make this poignantly clear. ALL illegal aliens, not just the current wave coming in must be deported. Yes we are a nation of immigrants, not illegal aliens who have broken our very laws you say we should take pride in. What good are laws if you don’t enforce them as the president has repeatedly shown he is incapable of doing.
Don’t try using the boohoo card on the American citizen citing the poor children. It is not our fault and not our problem. What kind of parents sends their kids by themselves in those conditions? I’m supposed to feel sorry for their ignorance and that of obama’s? We have jailed a father for leaving his child in a locked car. Now according to you we are supposed to look the other way because of the children for a far worse parenting action? You can arrest cyber hackers and fine foreign banks but you are powerless because children are involved? Maybe you need to resign too!
The problem is clearly non-enforcement of existing law. The way you have carried yourself throughout this issue is appalling at best and you should be ashamed of the president with his tyrannical use of executive fiats, your party and yourself. At the end of the day an illegal alien still remains an illegal alien, no matter the age, or unconstitutional fiat. Take your holier than thou attitude to church where it belongs. You and the president are personally responsible for letting disease carrying and criminally minded illegal aliens loose within our country and no hope that the majority will ever appear at their scheduled hearing. Detention followed by deportation is mandated, not cuddling. First he wants $2 billion now $5 billion? Give him nothing! He created this problem with his arrogance, let him fix it or resign.
An illegal alien is not an immigrant. They are all criminals and you need to start recognizing that fact. Any roots they have planted in our communities have been done illegally and since when is breaking our laws contributing anything of value to this nation?
I will say this; I will work for the Convention of States initiative and make sure that recall of federal politicians is one item to add into the U.S. Constitution along with term limits to rid ourselves of self gratifying career politicians like you who like to tell others how they should live as long as the laws you approve don’t apply to you.
Start doing your job not your personal agenda or that of obama’s. Start representing the American Citizen, not illegal aliens.
